The J. Stevens Arms and Tool Company of Chicopee Falls, Mass. Were manufacturers of Rifles, Shot Guns, Reloading Tools, Sights, Shells, and Fine Machinist' Tools. Interestingly, shells and cartridges could not be sent by mail, even in 1888 and the company used American Express for the duty.
This catalog illustrates Stevens growing reputation for making fine target rifles and pistols and, of course the famous, "Hunter's Pet" Long barrel Pistol with wire stock. Details parts lists, sights, ammunition and tools are featured.
