ANTIQUE LIMOGES PORCELAIN HATPIN HOLDER, FRANCE PLUS 2 ANTIQUE, ORNATE HATPINS

Description

Offered here is a beautiful antique hand painted porcelain hatpin holder.  The background is pearlized with spray of roses that extend across the back.  The hallmark on the bottom is marked Limoges B & H, France.  It is 3-3/4” tall with attached scalloped tray of 5-1/4” x 3-1/2”.  The branch like figures may be used for rings and there is are small tray spaces for other pins or jewelry.
Also included are two antique hatpins – the all-white one is ornately carved stone with steel rod pin – it is 7-1/8” over all.  The other hatpin is large baroque pearl in ornate filigree metal collar.  The pin is 5” long not including the pearl.  These came to me from a local estate sale, but the items had belonged to the great grandmother of the decedent – they date to the very early 1900’s.
