  • Condition: All kegs are thoroughly washed and sanitized, have had their poppits and rubber seals and O-rings replaced, and gas posts have been cut so that the end sits above the liquid line for effective carbonating. All kegs are holding pressure. No major dents. They are ready for use the day they arrive!

    Refurbished 5 gallon pin lock Corny Cornelius kegs
    These are old school Coca Cola kegs, measuring 9 in. dia x 22 in tall.
    They are ideal for beer, wine, kombucha, cold brew, soda, juices, or sparkling water.
    They have the standard 2-prong (CO2) and 3-prong (beverage) posts to avoid confusion.
    Unlike most used corny kegs you’ll find, these refurbished kegs have:
    been thoroughly washed and sanitized.
    had their poppits, O-Rings, and rubber seals replaced.
    had their gas posts cut so that the end sits above the liquid line for effective carbonating.
    Type of lids that have been mated to the kegs are sent at random (some have pressure-relief ports and some don't), and they are selected based on whether they hold pressure to the keg that is sent.  Most colors of kegs have black handles.  A select few have red, pink, white, or grey handles.  Black or Red/Pink are the default handle colors sent until they run-out.  Other colors can be sent only if readily accessible at the time the order is placed.
    Please note that
    Most of the keg lids do *not* come with rings / pressure relief ports on the lids to depressurize the kegs, as that was eventually phased-out of the lids by the manufacturer... we never did use those to depressurize the kegs anyways since using them would shorten the life of the lid. Instead, to quickly depressurize a keg, we just pressed a screwdriver-tip or pliers-tip onto the top of the poppit of the right side CO2 post of the keg (the post with two prongs) instead of the lid. It depressurizes quickly, safely, and prolongs the life of the kegs. We recommend doing that for for any kegs that you might receive, whether it has a ring on the lid or not, instead of using a ring on the lid.
