1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible.I've owned this car for 30 years plus. I reached that point in life where I can't keep everything I've got. I took the cover off this car , backed it out of the garage and took the pix , no cleaning , washing waxing, In fact the car has never been washed with water since it was pained 12 years ago.  One problem with the car is , everywhere I go people ask who painted it , The paint is as good as it gets , no peal , or texture , it's perfect , look at some of the pix , how well the background show's up , if you look at the taillight panel , you can see the bricks in the driveway .The origanal wheels were treated to the correct stencil kit , and factory GM paint . The convertable top was replaced right after paint ,and is a quailty top. Also while at paint all the stainless was buffed to perfection. The windshield was replaced to , to get rid of all those little imperfections. Some people have suggested that I replace the interior , It's too comfortable ,I like it as is. I had the engine rebuilt 20 years ago, I drive it less than a thousand miles per year, the mechanic's recomended the Elderbrock driveabuilty kit , that included cam , intake , and carb , and since then I have upgraded the distributor to a MSD all in one set up.. The engine and transmissin and interior are origainal .I had also added a factory correct Safe-T-Track rear , and kept the same gear raito. I still have the origanal rear end and intake , carb, and cam, and distributor , that will go with the car. Come and look at my car , and tell me where you've seen better paint. I have more pix .
